John Callisto
John Callisto was born in Adelaide to Italian immigrant parents from Molinara, in the province of Benevento near Naples. A proud son, husband, father and great friend to many, he fell in love with photography at 16, when his parents gave him his first Pentax camera.
His series Live and Love the Italian Way is a window into the heart of Italy: its landscapes, its busy streets and above all its people. John’s work is shared here by his wife Claudia, celebrating the heritage, culture and stories he loved.
